Link sketches

Post by User99 »

Hi all,

I'm a new user learning FreeCAD. As an exercise I'm following Christoph Laimer's youtube tutorial to create a slew bearing. Christoph uses Fusion 360. At 3:30 key points from a sketch in the XY plane are projected into a new sketch in the ZX plane. I have no problem making the sketches but to fully constrain Bearing Section I need those key points and I can't find how to do it.

What is the equivalent process in FreeCAD?

Thanks
User99

Hi and welcome to the forum!

You should work through the basic PartDesign Tutorials to learn such basic techniques as the Sketcher External.
