How can I non-uniform scale a compound?

Even if I scale a simple Cylinder-solid non-uniform (x=y=1.01, z=2.0) the result is no longer a valid geometry according to CheckGeometryResults. It seems to be an old issue ... see ... 233#p52233

What is the right way to scale a compound in the Part-WB?

PS. I try to use the clone-compound as the cutout in the body to gain some margin for real world assembly.

Did you try the clone in a boolean? It might still succeed. If it fails try making a fusion instead of a compound.
