Thanks Gene, Shalmeneser's example showed me how to do that. FreeCAD is rich in features but it's Interface is different to what I'm used to so I think I will have a long learning curve. However, along the way I keep finding some very nice functionality that is easier than some of the most expensive CAD programs.
