TechDraw: Center line not working (?)

Hello folks and gals,
I am facing an issue in TechDraw. The "Add Center line between 2 lines" does not seem to work... Anyone with a similar issue? I am running FreeCAD 0.19. Thanks

Only horizontal in your example.

On the horizontal lines you can add a midpoint vertex and then you can make a cosmetic line between the two points

You can add a horiontal line and rotate it by 90°

Thank you all, but there is no improvement, even if I try it with the horizontal line.
The part has been created by a 360° rotation of a rectangle...Could it be that FreeCAD does not accept this as axissymmetrical and therefore does not create the center line?
