Unable to disable leader line auto horiztonal

Post by ggarner »

Despite having it turned off in preferences, I cannot disable it when I create new leader lines. Also, I would like a 30 degree snap on leader lines if possible; currently the options are every 45/2 degrees.

Confirmed, the preference does nothing.
Furthermore it should be shown in italics in preferences, because it is (to be precise: should be) only the default initial value.

You probbaly know that you can change the Auto horizontal property in the Data tab and then change the last segment to non horizontal.

I can see here no snapping at all.

Yes, but the problem is this is only possible after the line is created. Currently I add a sacrificial segment that I then delete from the data table after I have disabled auto horizontal.

If you hold control, it snaps.

I can compile FreeCAD myself, but I decided to use the release version because it's more stable.

I have added the control key to the documentation of TechDraw LeaderLine.
