I have a sketch that I want to use the revolve tool on to create a 3D shape. It works in two of the dimensions but not the one I want :,(. I've tried recreating the sketch at a 90 degree angle to it's original orientation. However upon trying to use the revolve tool I found that now it wouldn't revolve in another one of the axes and would in the one it would not before (if that makes sense.) When I say it wouldn't revolve I mean that nothing appears on the screen. I want to revolve the sketch around the Y axis. I've attached the file.
Any suggestions as to what could be wrong will be very much appreciated.

Re: No Object Appears When Using Revolve Too Under Part
The revolve does not work when you spin a complete shape in the manner you are trying. You can cut the sketch in half along the y-axis and then it should work.
The revolved solid cannot intersect itself.
