Inverted pocket
I am trying beginner stuff. I managed to get a pocket in a box, but I draw the rectangle for the pocket on top, and when I hit OK, no pocket shows up on top. Flip it over and there's the pocket, on the bottom. How is this possible?

Re: Inverted pocket
The sketch is on the "bottom", specifically the x-y plane. There is only one way the pocket can form from there.
I do not know what you tried to do, but the sketch is not on the "top".

Re: Inverted pocket
What you uploaded has no inverted sketch and the pocket is not reverted either. Yet the pocket works.
If you have a bit more experience, you should refrain from attaching sketches to faces, see this page, especially the paragraph about creating stable models.
