Unable to perform chamfer with pillar

hi,
i ma creating a box with 4 pillar in inside edge. and want to perform chamfer but when chamfer go beyond or on pillar face pillar got disable, plz help

Your first post, welcome to FreeCAD.

From the pictures it looks like you are trying to create an invalid fillet. Could you attach the FreeCAD file so that we can have a look at what is going on?

Please also post all your version data in the manner shown in the forum rules link above this forum.

Do the pillars after the bottom face fillets.
