Re: PolarPattern appears to work but not visible
Thanks. That worked here as well. A bit more laborious as you said, but it works.
Sorry about the external references. I thought I had removed them all.heron wrote: ↑Sun Nov 14, 2021 12:42 am I modified some things that maybe they are not necessary. Changed the refine to true in all features. Modificied deviation property to 0,1 or 0,05 in sketches and body. Deleted sketch "Sk_BtnSupport". One I consider important, sketch "Sk_TopSupport" had external references to Geometry of a feature, changed to external reference to first scketch "Sk_Spool_Base" to avoid TPN issues posibles.
A wireframe view of your version looks like TheMarkster's, without the connector of the arcs either side of the post on the inside. There must be something in my version or libraries or python that's causing that. Ah, I see from TheMarkster it's the result of the refine=true.

Just musing...
Did you try it without the superfluous Std_Part container?

Re: PolarPattern appears to work but not visible
I just test it without Std_Part container and has the same behaviour.
But now, I have noted other thing, if set an other number of ocurrences in polarPattern than 2 or 4, then the model shows the shapes which don´t match the ribs. For example, set 8 ocurrences in polarPattern: #

I think the problem may come from an inaccuracy between the loft and the pad surfaces what causes failure in rendering

Do you need pillars to be 'aligned' with the center ?

Re: PolarPattern appears to work but not visible
Seem to me there is a somewhat simpler approach that may be more maintainable...
In any case here is my approach:
