It works, that's what's important.
Criteria : number of constraints in one sketch. The less the better.

It works ... for the moment. If you want to modify your sketch, will it be easy in one year ?

I just tried - no problems.
I have originally created the sketch in 2016 or 2017. So, four years, not only one.

In 2016 I did not know about external geometry in the sketcher. With current knowledge I might have done it your way right away. But the way has a flaw, which seriously bugs me (which may be personal, admittedly): It produces objects in the model tree that do not contribute directly and hence must be made invisible, but on which other objects depend. I try to avoid that where possible.
