Hi,
I am trying to face mill a surface on a part which I have rotated 10 deg to fit two copies on to available stock the most efficiently.
There are two areas proud of this face and edge between these two is now aligned 10 deg off the x direction.
I can get the cut direction along the line of the part OK, but I don't seem to be able to mill all the lower surface ( ie upto the surfaces edges ) without eating into the raised parts.
If I was aligned along X I could probably just over step boundaries and then trim the path back with a boundary dressup. But I can't do a boundary that is suitably aligned here.
All I can think of is manually hacking FreeCAD output of the 3Dsurface path which is quite close to what I need.
Below is a snap of the face mill and 3D paths.
Any ideas ?
