Stuff like this is why I find FreeCAD difficult to recommend to others :)
...
Stuff like what?

Learning the nitty gritty details of how to use an extremely powerful tool that has hundreds (maybe thousands) of commands, object types with properties that control all sorts of internal details of the object and how it interacts with other objects, a different way to approach a given problem for every user, etc.?

How but through experience, asking questions of the experienced users, and reading hundreds of pages of wiki does one learn any program to the point of proficiency (or to become experienced)?
(And, various media tutorials. But, the result of these tends to be variable, for any software.)
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan: Spock: "...His pattern indicates two-dimensional thinking."

Here :
* right blue line to reduce the usefull part
* symmetries to center everything
* blue square to fix little holes
* equality for equal dimensions

The less dimensions the better. :ugeek:
Thank you very much! I'll try to use these pointers in my next CAD project.

I work as an automation engineer. I guess my CAD's are akin to the spaghetti code I come accross sometimes :lol:
