Part Design - Move Object After Object is not preserving selected order.

Post by leoheck »

Part Design > Move Object After Object is not preserving the user's selection order.

Sometimes we want to move some features to a different level in the tree.
Sometimes more than one object should be moved.

For instance, I can select a Feature and its transformation, like Mirror, Circular/Linear patterns.
Or I could move a sequence of features by selecting one feature, and then Ctrl-selecting another feature, so select multiple features in that order.

Or even if I want to move different features close to each other and to another level of this tree.

What happens is that Freecad is moving the features in reverse order. We can call it a bug that could be definetelly improved, right?

Thougs?

Maybe it was a glitch in the matrix. This happens sometimes. But most of the time, I check if the post was already posted.
They seem to be the same. You can delete the second one then since it is a comment and may not give you extra work, thanks for asking.
