Why duplicated Labels are not allowed by default?

By default, Freecad does not allow duplicated Labels for features. But this is not important since it must use Names internally, instead. Those are never duplicated. So, why does it matter? Why it does not enable duplicated Labels by default? what is the possible problem that it may cause? I am not talking about 3rd party stuff (workbenches, scripts, macros)

There is a preference to allow this, so you can just try it.

But avoiding the confusion duplicate labels may cause for the user would be a very good reason for the default behavior. And expressions using labels will fail if those are used twice.
