Make carp fishing lead moulds with FreeCad

Post by robert_anisoiu »

Hello to all,

I am new on FreeCad and I would like to know from the experimented users of FreeCad if it is possible to design lead moulds using FreeCad.

I will attach below some pictures with what I want to do and please advice me if it is possible or not.

Thank you for any response,

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Looks on first sight like a revolve, followed by a pocket to flatten the bottom and some more angled sketches creating the air channels. The conic inlet can be a subtractive cone or a groove.
Finally the thing is multipatterned by mirror and linear pattern.

I may remember "vent" for some time, but I'm afraid that I will soon have forgotten "sprue" :D .
