[Solved] 3 b-spline surface

Post by concifederico »

Hi,
Thanks to the community and tons of trial and error I've succeeded in creating 2rail sweep for this open source and perhaps high performance parametric propeller. However now I'm not able to "close the tip" since it is not a 2 rail sweep.
Tried 2 methods:
To create a sweep between 3 edges and a central profile:

To create a sweep between 2 hulls and extend them:

Well the extend did not ever happended.
Worked with both surfaces and curves WB.
Also read so many many posts and seen most of Joko Engineering and JellyBean Solutions vids.
So this is why I'm here.
As usual, any help will be highly appreciated!
Regards,

Federico

Many thanks. A very interesting solution indeed!! I'll create a 99% hull and will go with 2 real sweep until there. Your trick will go in the last 1% .
Thanks again people,

Solved! Went to surface wb for the tip. The trick was to tweak surface parameters like tolerances from 0 to 0.05 and decreasing the degrees from 3 to 2.
Many thanks for all who collaborated.
