I have a simple connector that I have to re-use multiple times in creating a project.
It is essentially a dovetail and associated socket, each in its own body.
Is there a way to use the complete component as part of another, more complex object? For example, I'll need to create 24 or more of the sockets.
I understand that I can copy sketches and re-build the component each time, but is there a simpler way?
Thanks for your help and comments!

Is there a way to re-use an entire component, rather than just a sketch?

You can create a Draft->Clone.

you can duplicate the tenon part on the complete part with the "Multitransform" tool
for the female part, create a "hole (Pocket)" and duplicate it with "Multitransform" too

Thank you. This would work well for the cases where I have to reproduce the part 6 times on one part, and give me reliable spacing.papyblaise wrote: ↑Mon Dec 06, 2021 5:12 pm you can duplicate the tenon part on the complete part with the "Multitransform" tool
