Loft of ShapeBinder fails in Part Design but works in Part WB

Post by drmacro »

In the attached file if you attempt to Part Design Loft the ShapeBinders in Body001 it fails with No valid sub element error.

But, Part Loft with the ShapeBinders works... (other than the out of scope warning)

A workaround: edit the Profile property so it says instead of ShapeBinder, ShapeBinder.Wire1 (seems to work).

That makes sense.

But a bit inconsistent...you don't need the change that to Pad. ;)

Yes, I realize Pad is not Loft.

Pad was probably updated to work with shapebinders, but not Loft.

Does it make sense to enter into tracker?

Yes please. It would be convenient. It would be consistent.
