Trying to loft in Part workbench

Post by theber »

Up until now I've been working with PartDesign, but now I'm trying to get used to Part Workbench. I've run into difficulty trying to loft the corner of the attached sketch, using lines created with the Draft Workbench. The image shows the desired result, as achieved earlier with PartDesign.

In the PartDesign version the left edge of the angled edge is tangent to the arc. I understand that the Draft Workbench doesn't have this snapping possibility. My hope is that there is still a way to do it.

Thanks for having a look.

Not that it can't be done with the methods you are attempting...but, that is really the hard way.

Us a sketch and Part Extrude...
