Extra Line in Drawing

Post by Vagulus »

There is an extra line in this Drawing marked 'A'.
How do I avoid it?

FCStd is here https://1drv.ms/u/s!ArMxdUYEh9fKwBri9KC ... W?e=PkHxmC.

Thanks

I don't know what you are trying to say.
I toggled off the seam line in your 3D model of a Cone

and then created a drawing from the unseamly cone

and the line is still there.

You probably changed the draw style in 3D view to shaded, but that doesn't switch the seamline off. The seam of an object is always there even if you don't see it; it is the base for the object as can be seen in wireframe mode.
You have to set in TechDraw SeamVisible=False.

That's what I did.

That's a long road to a simple answer. :?
Thanks folks :D
