problem with path pockets

Post by jdmiller15 »

I've used FreeCAD to create STL for 3D printer but now I have a 3018 CNC to learn on.
I'm using version 0.19 Revision 24366.
I create the job in path workbench, create my tools, set my origin, etc. I create a MillFace and that works fine. Then I create a Pocket_Shape, In simulation, it looks like it makes one pass and stops. Rotating it looks like the one pass is above the face.
Any help would be appreciated.

It's all ok. You don't want to go arbitrarily deep in one pass, as you don't want to go arbitrarily high in one layer of the 3D printer. Have a look at the heights and depths image on the Path wiki.
