Changes in length of a sketch don't show up on the body
Hello,
Here is my version of Freecad :
OS: macOS 10.15
Word size of OS: 64-bit
Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit
Version: 0.19.24366 (Git)
Build type: Release
Python version: 3.9.7
Qt version: 5.12.9
Coin version: 4.0.0
OCC version: 7.5.3
Locale: C/Default (C)
So my problem is that I modified the length of one of the side of my sketch, however the box I made via that sketch hasn't been uploaded, it stayed exactly like before.
How can I solve this please ? Thank you for your time.

Re: Changes in length of a sketch don't show up on the body
You have fallen afoul of the TNP (Topological Naming Problem) issue by attaching sketches to generated geometry faces.
Pad004 is broken, indicated by the Exclamation point in the Tree view. In this condition the model will not recompute and the last valid recompute is displayed in the 3D view.
Remap the Sketch002 and it will probably recompute...
And have a look at:

Welcome to the forum.
I see sketch002 has a red label, that means this sketch has problems. In this sketch are 2 lines far away from the design you made. Delete them.
Another problem, maybe caused by your changes is that the Arc in in the wrong direction. Disconnect the arc and connect it the right way. Hope this will solve the problem. If not give us more info about the dimension that gives problems and in which sketch.
Success

Didn't catch that...Willem wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 1:39 pm Welcome to the forum.

That appears to be the solver "flipping" gotcha...or is TNP as well.

Pad004 problem :
* 2 lines alones (8+9)
* 2 lines crossing (1+2)
Mirror, Mirror, PolarPattern => Multitransform (Mirror, Mirror)
Hole004 ?
ShapeBInder ??? (other solid ?)
Empty sketches ??
ShapeBinder001 (future solid ?)

Re: Changes in length of a sketch don't show up on the body
I'm guessing the sketch lost the attachment and the solver got confused...

My problem is in the Sketch001, I've changed the dimension named xxLargBoitier from 170mm to 186mm.
I deleted the 2 lines at the top of the square, but didn't manage to disconnect the arc so I deleted it and remade one (with the same curve), however I can't delete the 2 leftover points from it (the one at the top right of the square). I also put the square right on the corner of the box, like it was before.
Hey, I used one shapebinder to creater the additive pipe, the other one I forgot why I did it.Shalmeneser wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 3:25 pm Pad004 problem :

I tried deleting the line one the circle but I can't select it, like it's from another sketch which is strange.
I forgot why there is empty sketches, I don't remember creating them.
As for the multitransform, after reading your answer I tried doing it your way but didn't manage too, do you think that having multiple Multitransform is the problem ?

Re: Changes in length of a sketch don't show up on the body
you made a real mess
you stay in the bottom body, you remove everything that is useless, for example the hole in the shapebinder
you finish the sketch of the pillar (it is open) and make a symmetrical Multitransform in the 2 axes
you do the same the top

Is it the right tool ?
Is it logic ?
Is it easy to maintain ?
Is the construction tree simple ?
