The sweep has so called self intersections: If you see the sweep as a sequence of sections, then these sections must not intersect.

This is the profile I want to achieve
1. Extrude the Path-Sketch and "SliceApart" (Part-WB) the 2 Objects
2. Sweep only the Base-Part, fetch the Profile-Sketch of the Sweep and revolve it (have to adjust Base- and Side-Profiles)
3. Sweep only the Base-Part and model the Corner with the Curves- and Surface-WB
4. ...

It's not exactly the shape requested, but for a bowl for the cat, it will be fine.

Maybe this will help. Since the tray is flat this could be done in one additive sweep sketch.
