You are of course right with that, but as there was already a workaround described in the OP, he could have taken the infos while running FreeCAD on a single monitor.

Re: work around for starting to white screen
@DDM check this out if you have trouble starting FreeCAD again, it might be due to multimonitor setup, workaround is to disable all but one monitor before launching FreeCAD then re enable the rest
Re: work around for starting to white screen
I was not trying to report a problem or a bug, even though it is one. I spent a lot of time searching and reading many forums. So I posted the work around I got to work for me to help people.
If you want all of the details I currently have freecad versions:
version 0.19
Revision number 24267 + 148(GIT)
Release date 2022/02/28 01:28:48
Windows 10
Version 0.20
Revision Number 28936 (GIT)
release date 2022/05/27 12:44:35
I am running an AMD 6700xt video card and tried multiple version of video drivers.
AS I said I did not post this as a new bug but simply to help people that were in the same boat as me. I am pretty sure the issue is in QT5 not FreeCAD. This same issue happens in another program that uses QT5.

Re: work around for starting to white screen
I'm running W11 with an Nvidia card running two monitors, and I was going through this exact problem. I was sent a link to this thread, and instead of disabling a monitor in the Control Panel, I powered the system down and unplugged the feed from the card to one of them, forcing the system to see the other as the only and therefore main monitor. I fired-up FreeCAD and there it was, all better! I powered down, hooked-up the other monitor, rebooted, and it's still fine.
