Hi manos, greetings to the Community!
Domad thanks for the post but I use Sketcher for sketches. Anyway can I create a sketch in PartDesign WB and then "import" it at Draft WB , processing it and then "import it" back to PartDesign WB ?domad wrote: ↑Sat Jul 02, 2022 2:30 pmHi manos, greetings to the Community!
The three animated * .gifs show how, with the tools available in the "Draft" Workbench, it is possible to perform any type of transformations (displacements - rotations and therefore "universal" alignments) of objects (created with any workbench) without no difficulty and without the aid of other tools or additional macros.
Certainly you have to become very familiar with the technique, but above all to understand very well how "they work" or rather what the work plans are and how to use them appropriately, this is the foundation not only in FreeCad but for cads in general.
