Greetings to the Community!
As I have already had the opportunity to demonstrate, the "Draft" workbench becomes, if necessary, a very precise, valid and practical measuring instrument.
Just use the Snaps functions, the plotting axis locking and the tracing line function to perform any type of measurement, both relative and absolute (i.e. referred to the global origin point).
So once you have drawn the line / lines just read, in the "Properties" -> "Data" -> "Draft" section -> "Lenght" parameter, the value of the distance / measure sought.
As far as angular measurement is concerned, it is sufficient, in addition, to use the functions of "select plane" and create "Dimension" angle.
Attached is the image of an example of some "relative distance measurements" between circles / circumferences randomly arranged in the 3D space in which lines have been drawn that act, in fact, as "distance measurers".
The relative direct ones are in red, the orthogonal ones and the height differences in blue.
I hope I have been exhaustive enough in expressing the concepts.

.... thanks for the appreciation, it often happens that we are constantly "anxious" looking for new tools without realizing that some, even as derivatives, are already present in FreeCad .... :)

I am very sorry
I found that I seem to have misunderstood
I saw that little screenshot you posted yesterday
I thought you were talking about the same workbench
Because the three icons are arranged exactly the same

Thank you very much for your detailed addition
let me find my mistake yesterday
Because I mostly use Part_Design
I don't use Draft very often
I always thought that Draft was just a function of drawing 2D
I tested some functions in detail
I've never been paying attention to Draft's lines, circles...etc
It seems to provide a lot of information in the property bar

Thank you very much for everyone's information

Can I ask you a question?
What is Draft mostly used for?

One thing you can do is place an extra point (I guess you would call it) in the center of circles on your sketches, you would need to toggle them from construction. This will give you something to target when you measure.

I think most expert users use Sketcher to create dimensions and reference them only in the sketches, I know that's what I do. :)
