Do triangles are disguised to rectangles ?
I created a triangle -with sketcher- as you can see in first png.
What has happened?
But when I finished editing, I saw a rectangle at the 3d view. What has happened?

Re: Do triangles are disguised to rectangles ?
I suppose it is possible the OS is an issue with a more modern build of FreeCAD. But, I'm not sure with the appmage how things might interact.
But, more general, ubuntu 18.04 is quite old, like 8 versions of of ubuntu old. (Yes, I know LTS, but...)

Do you have the bounding box selection display setting active?
Cheers,

Re: Do triangles are disguised to rectangles ?
good find, that's a possibility in combination with a white background color
Re: Do triangles are disguised to rectangles ?
Hi manos, greetings to the community!
The most accredited hypothesis of this behavior is to be attributed to what @mfro affirmed and highlighted with an image by @ thomas-neemann.
If it wasn't that you set "simple color" from Preferences -> Display -> Colors -> Background color and chose the "white" color, then you also set the "white" color of the lines and vertices of the Sketches , you would see the hypotenuse of the triangle and you would notice that you have set the bounding box display.
I take this opportunity to point out that the constraints created in the triangle sketch001 are to be reviewed, my suggestion:
- size constraint of one edge / side
- equality constraint on the other edge / side
- edge / side verticality constraint
- constraint of horizontality of the other edge / side
- coincidence constraint with the center of the axes
as a rule to always follow: prefer geometric constraints to dimensional ones.
