I get this dialog as usual here:

You can retry with 0.21, but I would rather start with resetting the config file.

Would you mind changing the title of the topic? Besides that I would say it is at least two forward and one back, a more descriptive title like "Dialog for mesh options missing" could help others to find this discussion.

Please could you post your FreeCAD info for FreeCAD 0.20, ( 0.21 is pre-release).

Surprised at the large variations in versions between used subsystems for the various operating systems, surely that does not help with testing and getting things stable.

Works here in 0.20 too. Did you try to reset the config?

Tried reseting config by moving

Code: Select all

/Users/keithsloan/Library/Preferences/FreeCAD/user.cfg /Users/keithsloan/Library/Preferences/FreeCAD/user.save.cfg
and restarting FreeCAD

Going to Mesh Design workbench and tied clicking on "create mesh from shape..." disables all icons and then nothing

Code: Select all

Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit
Version: 0.20.29177 (Git)

You need to properly reset back to a new user by renaming the Mod folder holding all those Addons and renaming your system.cfg (I know there's not a lot in there).
Having now seen this report and your report on compounding wires failing I'd say all the issues are down to some (probably minor) corruption on your machine and the chances of someone remotely pinpointing where I would suggest is going to be very difficult.

I moved Mod to Mod.save and system.cfg to system.cfg.save

Now I cannot install any of the previous workbenches, so one step forward THREE backwards - VERY Frustrating
