Hello all,
I am newbie with freecad and trying to draw a monitor case for my old laptop's monitor. First I created all parts in different documents but I needed to see the parts together to check the sizes and measurement. So I copied all documents to parts and combined the parts together from the documents.
I didn't use any assambly workbench. I just want to put the parts together (If it is possible).
My problem is while I was trying to assambly the parts, some of them are not matching due to angle. I tried to decreased rotation increment to have more resolution but couldn't success. I added the FCStd file.
Thanks in advance.
Snapping the parts together.

Re: Snapping the parts together.
It might be better to use one of the add-on assembly workbenches with their constraints. Otherwise, you could try with add-on Manipulator Workbench.

Re: Snapping the parts together.
Hello Thomas,
Thank you for the video. It seems your solution is more satisfying and I tried it. After my trying I could snapped the edges succesfully but the angle problem was not fixed. Please see the picture of the result and the short video about what I have done. May be the process I have done was wrong. Thank you.

Re: Snapping the parts together.
You should check ALL placement (Parts + Bodies) values because some angles are not null (you can see this looking from the top in isometric view).
