That's equivalent to Shalmeneser's statement "pitch must be greater (0.01 mm ?) than the maximum height of the form."

I peeked into your "selfintersection.pdf" tutorial and I find it very helpful.
I also got your proposed "Sketcher Lecture" which is even more helpful.
I wish I had these documents when I started with FreeCAD back in 2020.
It would have saved me many headaches.

Thanks for the compliment. The document "selfintersection.pdf" posted above is an extract from a book that I'm writing about FreeCAD. It is by far not ready yet.
