Re: Forum notifications ???
Do you have any idea what the second column of "notifications" is about in control panel ?
Just out of curiosity , I checked the same boxes in that column as I have on the email column. When I saved changes it all came back unchecked. ie it does nothing and it not stored.
This looks like a bug in the interface and if some changes have been made in a phpBB update maybe this is a clue.

Re: Forum notifications ???
I recieved a couple of PMs these days and now that I think about it I didn't get any email either, somethings definitively broken @yorik @kkremitzki
Latest email I could find was from september 5
Perhaps it's time to reconsider moving to discourse? supposedly it's able to import a lot of things from phpbb: https://meta.discourse.org/t/migrate-a- ... urse/30810

Re: Forum notifications ???
I think some guy on github mentioned not being able to sign up in the forum because they never got the email, there might be an issue with freecad's mail provider?
Re: Forum notifications ???
At least until 10 September I had email notifications.
So the problem is also here in Italy.

Re: Forum notifications ???
It looks like the forum is hosted by DigitalOcean, NY. The first assumption would be that it also provides the email server.
So the co. is US but the "cloud" servers could be run by any anyone, anywhere on the planet... that may explain why it's so god-damn slow. I was seriously wondering whether it was run on a home based PC in Yorik's bathroomDigitalOcean, Inc. is an American cloud infrastructure provider headquartered in New York City with data centers worldwide.
