Issue Simple Background color doesn't work with help add on

The setting Simple Background color doesn't still work since I have installed help add on "Help 1.0.3"
Instead of my configured simple background color (I used #626262 and some other colors for the test - each time with the same result) the background color is white instead of the color I have chosen.

Did anyone have an idea to solve the problem or the same experience?
