In Sketcher functions, the blue coordinates are too small to read

Post by djeear »

I have followed the forum rules, but I cannot find an answer. The version of FreeCad I am using is:
OS: Windows 10 Version 2009
Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit
Version: 0.20.29177 (Git)
Build type: Release
Branch: releases/FreeCAD-0-20
Hash: 68e337670e227889217652ddac593c93b5e8dc94
Python 3.8.10, Qt 5.15.2, Coin 4.0.1, Vtk 8.2.0, OCC 7.6.2
Locale: English/United States (en_US)
Installed mods:
* Curves 0.3.0
* LCInterlocking

For example, if I use the "Create line" function in the WB Sketcher, the cursor consists of an icon and above it a + sign with next to it the coordinates in brackets in small blue numbers. These coordinates are so small that they cannot be read. I have been able to resize some of the other screen components, but I cannot find how to make these coordinates larger. The resolution of my screen is 3840 x 2160.

Sketcher is constraint based, why do you need to see the coordinates?

Set the length of the line and its position after you have drawn it.

AFAIK there is no way to enlarge, you can however change the colour to make them more visible.

Edit > Preferences > Sketcher > Colours > working colours > coordinate text.

As a new FreeCAD user, I also found the cursor font size to be way too small on a 4K screen. Is there somewhere in the forum to suggest this capability be added?

You can create a feature request.
