hi
thanks

i am asking how to make 4 lugs starting on the outsides surfaces of the cylinder about 5 mm pad one in the front, one at the rear of the cylinder.
. so the inside of the cylinder is open. i thank i need a drawing plane.

then i need to rotate the plane on the y axis's to the horizontal position move the 2 planes with one on the top and one on the bottom of the outside of the cylinder. then draw the circles and pad them.

the final model should 4 lugs 2 on the top 2 on the bottom. i hope this is clear?

thanks :D

hi
when trying to draw on a curve surface, i get a error message that said that you can not draw on a curve planar(?)r surface not a direct quote. so i first draw flat surface then draw the circle now, i will try it again. i may be trying to hard at this. i forgot about the array command.

many thanks :D

DO NOT place sketches on surfaces. Instead use std planes and offset them.

I didn't try the simplest method, which results in round rods, because I didn't know the Pad Up to Face had been improved.
