Hey,
I'm pretty new to FreeCAD. My question is if something like this is possible in FreeCAD
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Mkf67_ZnEM (in Spanish but you will get the drift).
I dabbled a bit. And ended up doings something like here:
There is kind of a long way from here in my opinion. First off how would I cut this so it's nice to 3d print.
Steps so far:
-Draft:
ShapeString
Downgrade
Transform so they touch
-Part:
Extrude
Union (with refine = true)
and then played with thickess etc.
It doesn't work with all the fonts
Any tips would be appreciated
Cheers

No new insights, but the original file contains unnecessary objects and can therefore be simplified.

And anyone has any idea how to make these letters more separate but cut each other out a bit?
