Receive error when trying to insert dimensions in draft

Post by Mahal2023 »

I have created a 3D model in parts design workbench and now I want to add dimensions. I have read that dimensions can be applied in the draft workbench. However, after trying to insert a dimension, I see a green line representing the dimension and the following error:

PositionBySupport: No planar face in AttachEngine3D::calculateAttachedPlacement()!

How can I resolve this error and add dimensions?

Hi and welcome to the forum!

You should tell us more what exactly you have done step by step. You may also try to enlarge the size of the dimension in case the font is too small.

You should also add your FreeCAD infos as you are told following the IMPORTANT link above.
