Folding 2d objects into 3d object using constraints
Hi! I am completely new to FreeCAD, usually I design my parts in OpenSCAD but I hit the wall there. I have the following task in front of me: I have 4 flat shapes that can be cut from plywood and when stitch-glued together, they will form a boat hull. Now, I want to find a way of folding them into a 3d object, so that they will fit to each other along the edges (they will bend and twist in the process). I have found a video tutorial on how to do the opposite in FreeCAD, i.e. generate flat shapes from 3d object surfaces (unfold). Is it possible to do what I want? If so, I'd be grateful for some hints where to start. Sorry if answer to this Q is trivial/obvious. As I said, I am a total newbie in FreeCAD.
