There are more activities to support healthcare with low-cost devices.
Some time ago Tarek Loubani https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarek_Loubani
initiated the development of a low-cost stethoscope using 3d printers https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stethoscope#3D-printed
. The price is approx. 3 USD
