3d CAD and PETG printout of underwater wirestretcher

Postby Nordsol » Sat Feb 08, 2020 9:10 am

Hi ! Somebody interested in a small job?

The job is making a fairly easy 3d model of an underwater wirestretcher, print it out in PETG, pack it up and send it to me (Norway).

This model is for testing behaviour in seawater, so it has to withstand some seawater use.
Also the model profiles has to be hollow inside to let me fill it with concrete or the like to get it sinking.

Size of printout should be at or close to 500 millimeter for the biggest dimension (lenght).

I would need the project file and FreeCAD tree information so I can continue the development.

Files can be sent to me by PM for review before printout of model.
Please state the physical size of the printout.

- CAD model
- Printout in PETG filament, packaging and shipment of model

I'm in no hurry, would be nice to have this finished before april 2020.
Give me an offer for this. Will pay via PayPal.

A normal hobby printer cannot print objects with a wide up to 500mm. The only possibility is to split the model into two or more parts and put them together later.

Hello,

I'm interested. If you could provide me with some more information, maybe a clarification of the specific goal in mind?
PM me. I've got a lot of questions but intrigued non-the-less.

Thanks,
SDV

Thanks for the info. I need to fill the model with concrete to get rid of bouyancy so I have to do some dismantling and assembly anyway. Do You glue or weld PETG parts?
I need the model to be that big to make a somewhat scale-correct test in water. (CR-10 S5 can print 500x500x500mm ?)
