What does PM stand for?

Post by suncitydave »

In the Jobs Posting section, folks who are willing to help will write "Send your PM". What does PM stand for? AND Clicking on person's name takes me to Contact Info but I don't see anything to click on. Thanks for your help, "Old dog attempting to learn new tricks!" ;-)

Hi Dave, welcome to the forum.
PM stands for Private Message. At the left of each post you see the author. Below you see Contact ... Click the three dots and you get a popup line with some cloud symbol or comic speech bubbles. Click on these symbols and you will be directed to send a PM (meaning: see above).
A Sketcher Lecture with in-depth information is available in English, auf Deutsch, en français, en español.

except one does not see it until logged in. And quite possibly, one can't send PMs until getting through first post approval.
