A bit more "aligned to guidelines" compared to @chrisb proposal.

P.S. What if you would just use the "hair" and tweak ears a bit (but not too much as we don't want too realistic one) to represent a head and a tail? As when looking at the proposal i guess i could see a nice sheep sitting on top! ;)

Very good distinguishable, even at small size.

Based on this one but more geometrical and symmetrical. And with a single head.
Just another option. ;)

Single head is enough. The sheep stands for the clone itself, as was the old star wars clone icon.

Here there is a more minimalistic option.

I liked it :D same spirit as the star wars clone, but copyright-infringement safe...

Nice improvements :) It is however IMO important that we show this icons at small sizes, I took my screenshot from the Inksape dialog "View -> Icon Preview...". Also we should make sure that they work well with other FreeCAD icons. I have copied the colors from the original clone icon but I have not checked the overall size of the icon and the lines (strokes) width... Agryson made them too nice :)

@yorik, there are actually a number of old clone icons still in the arch wb (clone of...)

Sorry. I do not have experience designing icons. Here there is another screenshot.
Yes. There are some things to normalize. I just went with a suggestion for the proposed concept. I keep the previews thickness in the lines and added new ones with different thickness. :?

Looks good to me, but we should probably keep the inner highlight stroke as per guidelines https://www.freecadweb.org/wiki/index.p ... Guidelines
