I like this one much more than that of tuqueque, because the F doesn't look so brutally chomped (and not only because it was posted in a separate thread :lol: ).
However, the C looks a tiny little bit too fat, although it probably is the same as the F. Perhaps it's the teeth making it look so.

This logo is a perfect replacement in my opinion, I would not be against doing the change immediately. Fat C looks great.

Not knowing the correct notions for fonts in english, let me use FreeCAD's sketcher to express what I would like to see: Could you provide a version where the two selected lines have the same length:

Thanks, looks better to me. I have the feeling that someone with much experience in typography could make this perfect.

I'm not a graphic design professional, but AFAIK most fonts look better when rounded letters dip a little below the level of other letters and reach above them, so I've done a version slightly enlarging the cog:
