Okay, it is AutoCAD representation)
It is nice as far as it most recognizable, time-tested, clean and minimalist.

I love F3/E3 for zone icon concept, C1/D1 are also looking good.

Some minor changes, local recolor, Part workbench content was rearranged, icons right to magenta squares are changed.

Nice news, alpha IconSlicer now splits every vector data in 48x48 grid.
2400 svg files in ten seconds.
Next step is to provide properly named image-driven svg slice.

There is also SVG matrix transforms interpretation problem.
Basically, there is the way manually find and "apply" all shapes, but we want to try to figure out clean solution.
Green one was applied manually, ellipses of purple have transforms.

Also, you may remember from previous tread that I was making icon redesign during rendering, so there is the result.
I am modeller/visualizator in this project.

Great news! This for sure will enable more streamlined workflow. When it comes to producing icon pack variants, and fine-tuning the current one.

Removing groups, that would remove transforms?

Nice job.

P.S. FreeCAD, now having improved Python 3 support, maybe at some point a bridge between FreeCAD and Blender, for getting good renders, could be explored. But i could imagine you first need to get good with Blender, to get good results, when it comes to rendering tasks. :!:

Yep. I planning to make some stable common color/monochrome variatoins for test and then to release code.
It took about 200 usd to hire developer on this, but I planning to release it for free under GPL v2.

There are no SVG groups alowed, so they are not used)
TMatrix is a custom attribute of an object that is added if you perform manual manipulations with it.

Thank you)
It was made to celebrate 500 000 downloads of that free model. Here is tread about it.
Everything there is modeled by me, it took couple of months of modeling during years to make this scene and thousants of donations to make Blender have eevee.
This is result of hard work.

Well, it is a bit more complicated, so you need to get good with Blender, then get good with, actually, visualization, then with marketing/promoting and after all that things it will start to work.
But this is totally unobvious at start.

Btw, COIL iconwork was conceived as part of the FreeCAD promotion, it's all about it.

Interesting, can you share more about what this means ?

Ok, I will try to explain.
Here is the way most users perceives program.

Program.jpg

That's the law of software marketing - people associates program's fuctionality with the interface they see. It's like a face recognition.
Sketchup made a breakthrough because of nice and clean interface - it's screenshots looks beautiful and tuny.
If you google Revit, you will find mostly the same thing - there are nice and clean, solid screenshots of complex structures mostly in isometric view
(I guess that's why they made perspective view editing ability so late - it is unusual for 3d program to block such thing so long, making comfortable interior editing in architectural program almost impossible)

There are fonts families that are considered inappropriate.

There are sites, that "smell" with 90's and 00's.

I knew a lot of nice specialists that refuses to learn programs like GIMP because it's interface is far away from Photoshop.

Blender makes redesign the second time - 2.5 was a big deal and excellent move, now they are trying to go even further.

The issue of FreeCAD icons is that they are difficult to take seriously.
FreeCAD is not looking like software for any kind of mechanical/architectural engineering while it have Dolly (1996!) meme sign for cloning.
Personally, I don't know people that loves such overloaded icon style.
Fixing that I wand to try to remove that barrier, making FreeCAD more pleasant for new users, including myself.
