[SOLVED]Polishing the UI (dialog toolbars and frame sizes)

Yes, I checked with the appImage.

1. The "Open document" dialog is DE related. Works fine with the appimage.

2. The height of the View->Preferences window frame will still show up with the appimage. Probably hard coded with the creation of the window.

I was wrong. This problem is also DE dependent.
I was using Plasma DE. Changed to lxqt DE and the problem went away. Same with lxde DE
