Those look great. I'm really excited to see this workbench moving forward. Bitacovir I would love to see a video if your process working in inkscape!
I often am concerned with color blind readability when using red and green but in this case it seems there is enough clarity in the iconography cues to overcome it.

After using a little, you don't need to search for icon which you want to click. Because you memorize it position. So I don't think color blindness is a problem for green icons.

I am colorblind, "we" always find our way of understanding icons regardless of the color. But, don't create two icons that are exactly the same with different color only, that would be confusing. If you haven't got any other way, avoid using green and red in that case.

Create sections from mesh
Edit highway centerline
Import point file
Create lines that orthogonal to centerline
