Hi Pablo, i thought to ping you on this topic to know you opinions. Expecially on the "new 'dropdown' indicator" that allows to place some toolbar vertically keeping their size. Do you think it is something worth integrating also in other stylesheets?

Aligning icons in a grid
Problem: Currently, if you set your toolbars to the side, you will have a mess of a pile of Icons that are vertically and horizontally misaligned. This is generally bad UI design, and it feels awful. However, we must work within the QT limitations.

Solutions: First of all, we need an ability to lock/unlock toolbars (in order to hide the handles for moving toolbars, as they offset the toolbar).
I've just submitted a PR that adds this feature, controlled by a hidden preference (the idea being that this is the sort of thing that can be included in a Preference Pack).

@carlopav:
There is an issue with the new tooltips if the button is on a flyout. It does not seem to work in that case. See image.

I have 2 thoughts that seems feasible to share in this thread as being related to tooltips.

I really like the function in Blender that enables you to get python command for a function by hovering over a button and press ctrl+c, not sure how easy it would be to implement though and if there are other cons to it, but it could for sure make it easier for beginners to start scripting.

The other thing I thought of is using "tools tips" while hoovering over items in the treeview, not sure what would be best to view here but maybe bringing up some of the most used properties would minimize the need for having the view/data panel in the combo view visible all times.
