[SOLVED] 〼 -> What does this symbol stand for?
Hey everybody,
I'm currently working with the great TechDrawTools macro and found out about a new symbol there: 〼
I've searched the internet but I didn't find a clue about what it means regarding technical drawings. Please enlighten me!
Thanks!

That means square, eg. 〼20 descibes a 20x20 profile.

not quite, □ could also mean rectangle, usually written as □20/40

I think it would be a good idea to add these characters to the dialog :
https://wiki.freecadweb.org/TechDraw_LengthDimension
and other symbols:
Ø - Diameter symbol
□ - Rectangle shape size (□ 30)
○ or ⭘- Sphere shape diameter (○ Ø32)
⊲ - Conic shape (⊲ 1:5)
⦣ - Draft of surface (Symbol looks ugly, but I didn't find anything else in unicode) (⦣ 1:100 ; ⦣ 12% ; 5 ‰)

Any arbitrary text can be added to format specifier.
The difficulty is just to find the right caracter.
So a simple and easily accessible caracter chain with a lot of useful caracter is enough.

What do you think about a dialog like this:
Re: [SOLVED] 〼 -> What does this symbol stand for?
Interesting! I like it. But I'm thinking about the selection of possible symbols. Are there even more useful symbols regarding dimensions? If so, maybe it'd be better to provide them as a drop down list.
