PDF Export

Post by RitoonL »

Hello,

While exporting in PDF A4 Landscape, The export makes a A4 Portrait. It seems that exporting PDF does not respect format of the Drawing you made.

I haven't found any option to export to the right format. Any Clues ?

Thanx by advance.

Don't use File->Export... with subsequent selection of PDF type, use File->Export PDF instead (different menu entry).

I think the fix for this problem should also fix this. There should be an entry in the list of exportable formats called "Technical Drawing". That is the one to use.

I seem to have the same issue with PDF export.
Trying to export an 11x17 drawing but I get a different size.

Tabloid/Ledger is always a problem. It is the only case where the same paper size has two entries in Qt's list of valid paper sizes - separate ones for portrait & landscape. Seems like the paper size overrides the orientation.

I'll see if I can figure out a special case for Tabloid/Ledger.

Export to Tabloid/Ledger (Ansi B) paper should be fixed by this git commit dca9120de.

Sorry, the whole app image production process is a mystery to me.
