Is anybody using the GDT workbench? https://github.com/juanvanyo/FreeCAD-GDT By going through the release notes of 0.18, I just became aware this exists.

It seems to implement ISO 16792 for geometric dimensioning and tolerances. GDT seems to insert the symbols directly in the 3D viewport. I guess it would make sense to implement those symbols directly in TechDraw.

As far as I can remember, the GDT WB stopped working after v0.16.

The author hasn't been on the forum for a long time (Thu May 25, 2017 11:24 pm).

Okay. I was wondering why it was listed in the release notes: https://www.freecadweb.org/wiki/Release ... al_Modules

Also, I don't mean to use GDT exactly, but maybe you can extract the relevant symbols used there, to make annotations in the TechDraw page. That is, salvage what can be salvaged.
