Dimensioning issues (Gear)

Post by MRx »

I'm using Freecad 0.18 with MacOS

#1 Techdraw:

Turn View Frames On/Off can get rid of the box around it, is there also a way how to remove the crosshair?

#2 Drawing Dimensions:
I get some ghosting image from time to time if that happens snapping to it does not work

If I delete a dimension the screen is not updated (the dimension still remains until I draw a new dimension), on the python console I see the issued deletion and recalculate commands.

Also drawing a table does not work at all.

Is there any workaround available for those issues?

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Turn View Frames On/Off should do the job. You should upgrade to 0.19. Much better on MacOS, and much better with TechDraw.

- Linewidth was it (found it when digging around in the forum)

- View Frames On/Off was the other one.

Last time I tried a pre-Version of 0.19 with MacOS I experienced quite a few issues with the Path tool. Do you know about current state of it now? I won't be doing any CNC work until September I guess.

Arc Centers property in View tab under Decorations.

In v0.19 there are 2 preferences for Arc Centers on the Annotation tab.
